The three leaders got there by different routes: Roma have the meanest defence in the division, Inter Milan turned 0-2 into 3-2 against Napoli, and Lazio came from behind at Udine with a goal on 88 minutes.
Top scorers
Donyell Malen of Roma leads with five goals in three games, ahead of Antonio Raimondo of Frosinone on four, two of them scored against Venezia on Sunday.

The Fiorentina story
Fiorentina relieved Fabio Grosso of his duties and brought back Paolo Vanoli, who took over from Stefano Pioli last season and kept the club up. His first session was on the afternoon of the announcement.
The numbers behind the decision are blunt: three games, three defeats, one goal scored and nine conceded, bottom on their own.

For transparency: Cagliari ended with one goal in total and Udine with three, so both Monday indications look satisfied. Until the site settles them, though, they stay written as pending.
Player calls
On individuals we had seventeen. Thirteen are settled: twelve right and one wrong. The other four cover Monday's two games and are still being processed.
The one that missed was Kike Pérez of Venezia, marked for at least one foul committed at Frosinone. He committed none. He is a central midfielder who played a clean game that day, and on a threshold that low there is no margin: either the foul arrives or the call fails.
What to watch from here
There is no break: matchday four starts on Friday 11 September with Venezia against Fiorentina and closes on Monday 14 with Inter Milan against Udinese at San Siro. Three threads stay open: whether Roma hold that goal difference, how Fiorentina respond to the change of manager, and what the scans say about Udinese's Oumar Solet, who went off on Monday with a muscle problem.
