Serie A matchday five team news: injuries and suspensions, with Calhanoglu out and Stones a major doubt
A single player suspended, Genoa's Vasquez, but three bans for coaching staff, including Chivu's assistant. The club diagnoses for Inter, Napoli, Juventus, Lazio and Atalanta, and game by game who is missing, with our call.
Who is missing on matchday five of Serie A, the last round before the break. We always keep two things apart: diagnoses announced by the clubs and absences reported ahead of the game. We only give return dates when the club gives them.
Suspensions
The disciplinary judge banned only one player: Genoa's Vasquez, one game for two yellow cards, so he misses Parma against Genoa. The other bans hit coaching staff:
Kolarov, Inter assistant coach: two games and five thousand euros, misses Roma against Inter.
Nenci, Atalanta goalkeeping coach: one game, misses Juventus against Atalanta.
Biglia, Torino staff member: one game, misses Bologna against Torino.
Atalanta's Gaetano has served his ban and is available. After Tedesco's dismissal, Bologna are in the hands of Palladino, who makes his debut on Saturday.
The club diagnoses
Inter Milan: Calhanoglu, a muscle strain in the right adductor; Stones, a strain in the left hamstring. Both to be reassessed, no timescale given. Dimarco is fit again.
Napoli: Meret, a low-grade injury to the long adductor of the left thigh; Alisson Santos, a medium-grade injury to the left hamstring. For McTominay the club announced an ablation procedure for a benign arrhythmia and said he will be available after the break. Anguissa is a doubt.
Juventus: bulletins for Yildiz, Locatelli, Thuram, Boga, Cabal and Ekhator, none with a timescale. Kelly and Zhegrova are available again for the league.
Lazio: Doekhi had surgery on his left hand for a fracture of the second metacarpal.
Atalanta: Sulemana has a collateral ligament injury in his left knee; Hien is still in treatment. Kessie is available.
