Club de Fútbol Lorca Deportiva was set up in 2012 in Lorca, in the Region of Murcia, taking the place of the older club of the same name that had just been wound up. It plays at the Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco, an 8,120-seat ground opened in 2003, and has spent its life between the regional leagues and the national lower divisions.
