Gangneung City

Founded in 1999 in the coastal city of Gangneung, in Gangwon province, the club won the last edition of the Korea National League in 2019, before that competition was absorbed into the K3 League. Renamed FC Gangneung from the 2026 season, it plays at the Gangneung Stadium, comfortably the largest venue at this level of Korean football.
