Alcoyano

Club Deportivo Alcoyano was founded in 1929 in Alcoy, in the province of Alicante, and reached the top flight in the years after the war. Long a fixture of the Spanish lower divisions, it owes much of its fame to the Copa del Rey nights at the Campo Municipal El Collao, a ground of about 4,850 places.
