Kévin Denkey is a Togolese professional footballer who plays as a centre forward. Born in Lomé and taken to France as a boy, he came through the Nîmes academy and made his professional debut in Ligue 2 in January 2017, then tasted top flight football when the club went up. Belgium is where he became a genuine number nine: after joining Cercle Brugge in 2021 he grew into the most feared striker in the country, finishing the 2023-24 Belgian Pro League as top scorer with 27 goals, eight more than anyone else, and collecting the Ebony Shoe in 2024 as the outstanding player of African origin in the Belgian first division. Over the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons combined he put away 34 league goals, a two year total only a handful of forwards anywhere in Europe could match, and he closed his time at Cercle with more than sixty goals for the club. A penalty box finisher with sharp movement in behind and the strength to lead an attack alone, he has represented Togo since his senior debut in September 2018. Golden Predictions covers Kévin Denkey with in-depth match analysis, player insights, form and tactical notes, and predictions for every fixture.
