Xerez

Xerez Club Deportivo comes from Jerez de la Frontera, in the Andalusian province of Cadiz, and traces its current form to a refoundation in 1947, taking the Xerez name in 1963. The Azulinos reached La Liga for the first and so far only time in 2009-10, the only side from Jerez ever to play in the Spanish top flight, with the 20,742-seat Estadio Municipal de Chapín as their home.
