Mbarara City

Mbarara City FC was started in 2010 as Citizens FC, a school project in Mbarara, and took its present name in 2016 to bind itself to the city and to western Uganda as a whole. It reached the national top flight in 2017 and plays at Kakyeka Stadium, the municipal ground of Mbarara, in the west of the country.
