JOS Watergraafsmeer takes its name from the Amsterdam-Oost district where it plays, at Sportpark Drieburg. The present club dates from the merger of 1 July 1995 between JOS, founded in 1920, and Watergraafsmeer, and it reached the Derde Divisie for the first time in 2020.
