Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club was founded in 1935 in Kumasi, the heart of the Ashanti region, and is the most decorated club in Ghana. It won the African Cup of Champions Clubs twice, in 1970 and in 1983, and remains a heavyweight of continental football. The porcupines fill the Baba Yara Stadium, the largest ground in the country with about 45,000 seats.
